Does Netgear plan on adding this VPN functionality to the R7000 via FW? 2. If not, is there a different Netgear router which can achieve the above? 3. If not, would I have to setup the VPN service at the device level on each separate device to be protected? En fait je viens de recevoir mon routeur Netgear AC1900 R7000 et je souhaiterais installer un client VPN. J'ai consulté pas mal de fournisseur de VPN (PureVpn, ExpressVpn, HMA, SaferVpn). Ils m'ont tous dit que pour pouvoir le faire il fallait que je flash mon routeur avec DDWRT. Ils me disent aussi que c'est possible. Par contre quand je vais sur la database, le R7000 n'apparait pas.

It can be done with third-party firmware (DD-WRT, Tomato or Asuswrt-Merlin). Note: Any VPN service that uses OpenVPN to operate will not perform well on the R7000.
